The four-star Elite Palace Hotel is a modern hotel on St Eriksgatan with a spa out of the ordinary, centrally located at Vanadisplan in Vasastan. The hotel is close to all of Stockholm's attractions but is also right next to peaceful Haga Park and Brunnsviken. Within walking distance there are many cozy little restaurants, bars and cafes. Vana spa is a peaceful oasis with a pool, jacuzzi, steam and dry sauna, aroma room, spa lounge with fireplace and a 300 sqm gym.
The hotel's English pub The Bishops Arms has one of Stockholm's widest beer and whisky selections and a genuine pub environment.
The airport bus from Arlanda Airport stops right outside the hotel and it is a five-minute walk to the S:t Eriksplan metro station and local buses. The hotel is 250 metres from Odenplan S&D Station, which has direct access to the metro. For those who use a car, the hotel's garage is available for a fee.
The hotel offers great meeting opportunities with 11 bright and comfortable rooms with a capacity of up to 150 people.
During the evenings, we will also have a lecture on crisis management by Varg Gyllander, who is one of the country's most experienced crisis managers, authors and lecturers. During his long career in the police, in recent years in the role of press officer and the National Police Commissioner's strategic media advisor, he has handled many of the authority's biggest crises. We do not know about several of them.
Today, Varg educates organizations and companies in communication and action in a crisis. He shares his well-proven tools and models, and generously offers his own experiences - both the successes and the mistakes he has made.
