| In 2024, we celebrate 50 years of networking with IMASince 1974, IMA - International Management Assistants has provided our members across the world with networking as well as professional and/or personal training. Throughout this year, IMA will take you on a journey from where it all started - as Sonia Vanular's vision of a European network called EAPS over the EUMA years until today, where we are IMA - International Management Assistants. IMA will do interviews with former Executive Chairs and with members who have stayed with IMA for decades - and with newly applied members. The culmination to this year of celebration is our International Annual Conference in Stockholm, Sweden this October. There we celebrate in style! Join us on the journey - and join us in Stockholm! |
Our Story IMA was founded in 1974 by Sonia Vanular as an international quality network of management support professionals who focus on their personal development and on the future changes in their profession. The encouragement of the members individual development and the constant evolution of the management support profession, are a few of this unique professional network's aims. The profession of management assistants is going through major changes to embrace the digitalisation of the business world and the new working methods. Our Global Network aims to be a step ahead in future developments to meet the requirements of the current members and to be attractive to the generations Y and Z entering the business world. |
