Skog inne, Skogh i sinne
At the beginning of the 20th century, within the walls of Stockholm's own Grand Hotel, hotel director Wilhelmina Skogh envisioned the creation of an ever-green garden to compensate for the harsh cold outside.
Her career continued to flourish, and in 1910 she named her newly built property on Lidingö "Villa Foresta", inspired by the forest and the old knightly burghs that beautifully bordered the river Rehn.
With its generous open spaces and an atmosphere that flows like the nature outside, we invite you to a place where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors blur. The lush environment takes root in the hotel's heritage and follows a timeless design.
