A Day to celebrate the past, present and future 

Join us on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the vibrant city of Groningen for a festive day in honor of the 50th anniversary of IMA Netherlands. We’ve put together a memorable program to celebrate this milestone with you: 

• Welcome with coffee, tea and cake (of course) 

• Guided tour through the iconic Forum Groningen 

• Scenic canal cruise through the city 

• Festive dinner and evening celebration at the historic Feithhuis 

NITE 
We kick off our program at the venue of NITE (Nationaal Interdisciplinair Theater Ensemble). The innovative collective known for pushing the boundaries of performance but also the work base of our member Yvonne den Burger. NITE merges dance, theater, and music into powerful storytelling. During our visit we will kick off our festive day and brief you about the program ahead.  

The Forum Groningen – A living Landmark 
A true architectural gem in the heart of the city, the Forum is more than a building. It’s a cultural statement. With its modern design, panoramic views, and unexpected corners, it offers endless possibilities for exploration and inspiration. During our visit, you'll get a guided tour and a peek behind the scenes of this extraordinary venue. Whether you’re planning a meeting or looking for a unique spot for a future event, the Forum offers a place for it - literally in every corner, room, or even stairwell. Discover Groningen from the Water 
Let the city reveal itself from the water as we board a canal cruise with Kool Rondvaarten. Relax and enjoy the ride as we glide through historic canals and under ancient bridges.  

Celebrate in Style at Het Feithhuis 
We end the day at one of Groningen’s most beautiful historic venues: Het Feithhuis. Located next to the Martinikerk, this charming building has been welcoming guests since the 17th century. With its elegant ambiance it's the perfect place to gather, reflect, and raise a glass to our shared journey. Enjoy a festive dinner, great conversations, and a night to remember—complete with music and dancing with DJ Werner de W.
