Membership Options

IMA South Africa offers flexible membership plans, with annual payments due before 1 March every year. Companies with two and more members benefit from a special discounted rate.

Annual Membership Fees

IMA South Africa members have the option to secure a two-year membership at the current rate, giving you continued access to all IMA benefits without any fee increase. This extended option not only ensures uninterrupted access to our global network, exclusive training sessions, and event invitations — it also means less admin for you when it comes to negotiating and getting approval from your employer for a longer period.

We offer a range of membership types designed to support you at every stage of your professional journey. Whether you're an experienced assistant, just starting out, retired or simply passionate about advancing the management support profession—there’s a place for you in IMA.

Professional Members
For management support professionals—whether employed full time or freelancing—working at management or executive levels. These members are qualified by education, training or relevant job experience and actively contribute to the profession through their roles.

Associate Members
Open to individuals who support the goals of the Association but are not currently working in a management support role. This includes retired professionals, career changers, or individuals taking a break who still wish to stay connected and informed.

Honorary Members
This special title is conferred by the Association to individuals in recognition of their valuable advice, assistance and sustained contribution to IMA and the management support profession internationally. Honorary members are true ambassadors of IMA and are not required to pay membership fees.
